  • Before leaving for an event, ALWAYS check our website or your email to find out about any last-minute schedule changes
  • Class times and instructors are subject to change. Schedule may be updated periodically
  • It greatly helps us plan events when we know how much participation we will have. We offer a discount if you register 7 days or more in advance for most workshops (this does not apply for a series or for empathy groups).
  • If the discount is still available, it will show up automatically, e.g., “Price: $81.00 (including 10% early discount).” This means the regular price is $90 and you’ll get the class for $81. You don’t need to enter a code to get the discount, it’s already reflected in the price.
  • We want this work to be available to you regardless of your ability to pay and have a scholarship system to assist those who need it. To request a partial scholarship for any our events please use this form. All scholarship requests need to be received at least 7-days prior to the event start date to be considered.

Announcing the 2012 New York Intensive in Rochester, NY
I have been part of the New York Intensive since its inception nine years ago. That first year,  I was new to the NVC. I was completely blown away by the transformation I saw in my life and in others. The structure of the intensive and the quality of the trainers contributed to my ability to really examine some core places where I had been stuck for so long - beliefs I was holding about myself and my ability to contribute to our world, stories about my mattering, the basic assumption that my needs could ever matter to another. At that first intensive, I saw myself and others taking hugely courageous steps into becoming the people we always wanted to be.That first exploration of NVC fueled my passion to learn more and to deepen my practice. NVC has become an integral part of the work I do in the world. And each year, the New York Intensive is one event that I look forward to with excitement. Not only do I have the joy of seeing the continued growth of old friends who have been on this journey with me, but I also get to see new people experience the same transformation that I did.
